American Red Cross school clubs are school-based service groups that help the Red Cross fulfill its humanitarian mission of: preparing for, preventing, and responding to emergencies.
Working closely with our local Chapter and a school Advisor, club members participate in Red Cross service projects that help their schools, their communities, and the world.
The Triangle Red Cross believes YOUTH have the potential to make a difference in huge ways. In our eyes, they bring energy, innovation, and inspiration to the American Red Cross.
Start a Red Cross Club in Your School
How to start a successful Red Cross Club in 5 easy steps:
1. Secure an adult Advisor, then get club registered with ASB
2. Contact Sherry Mitchell, Director of volunteers to see how the Red Cross can support your new club!
3. Promote the club through school activities
4. Hang posters and pass out flyers advertising the first club meeting
5. Hold meeting, plan fun service activities, keep members interested and involved!
